Beautifully Broken Control by Catherine Cowles (Book Review)
⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4 Stars)

Beautifully Broken Control is a standalone book in The Sutter Lake Series. A slow-burn romance about two broken people that will melt your heart.
Kennedy is running from her past. When she learned that her father’s company was stealing millions from innocents, she made a bargain with the FBI to protect her brother, but brig her father and the business down.
Now, half the people think she was just one more involved in her family scheme, and the other half think she’s a traitor. So Kennedy decides to escape her old life, shed her old identity, and live a reclusive hard-working life in Sutter Lake, where she tries her best to be invisible.
Cain has his own demons, and when he comes to the small town to seek some comfort in friends, he is immediately intrigued by the quiet newcomer.
Their romance is one that slowly breaks down barriers. And it’s just the sweetest thing. I will probably go back and read the previous books in this series at some point. Also, I just want to give a shoutout to this incredible cove – so pretty.
